I made it!!

Hello everyone! I finally made it to Montana and am finally able to post here again. So, to catch you all up, I left on Thursday morning and drove to Kimberly, Idaho and spent the night at a bed and breakfast that is also a horse hotel.

Here is a picture My horse Sierra, Me and Carol. Carol has the absolutely CLEANEST place I've ever stayed in and the horse facilities are excellent! Sierra got to stay in a nice comfy stall inside a barn and had a bed of shavings to lie down in. It was so nice to stay in a place that I actually felt comfortable in. Some hotels are spooky, but Carol's bed and breakfast feels like home. If you ever travel through Idaho, you've GOT to stay there! Her information is: Carol L. Sherman, Western BarnsP.O. Box 176 Kimberly, ID 83341. Tel: 208-423-6340; cell phone - 208-731-3557E-Mail: csherman_7@msn.com By the way, she has the most AWESOME Palimino Stallion, I'm so tempted to breed Sierra to him in a year or two..

Now that I have made it to Montana, I'm in the process of getting settled in. I have done all my un-packing and have been working on a horse barn for Sierra. She's staying at my neighbor's house for a couple of nights until I finish it. I'm converting my existing garage into a barn until I can afford to build her an actual barn. It's working out perfectly, I can put gate panels inside the garage to keep her penned up, and she has a turnout that she can access to be outside if she wants. She'll be protected from the elements this way and will have a nice insulated place to stay when it dips to below zero temps. I am going to finish it just in time, we're supposed to get some snow tomorrow and next week..

I went shopping today and bought food to fill up my empty cabinets, got a few supplies for Sierra's stall, cleaned the house and I believe I'm starting to feel a bit more relaxed about being here. It's strange to be all alone, but I feel suprisingly comfortable and at peace with being here alone.

My neighbor that's boarding my horse (her name is Missy) invited me to Church tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that. I haven't been to Church in some time and need to get my butt back in there. She and I are becoming friends and I'm glad she's here and lives right next door!

Ok, it's beddybye time so I'll post again verrrrry soon~
